Menlo CE Info
CE & Me
Take our CE & Me Interest-Matching Survey to find exciting CE experiences and opportunities, customized to fit your personal preferences and interests. As soon as you fill out and submit the form, KV will get to work compiling a list of recommendations for you, and we'll send you this list within the next two weeks.
Apply for a YLE
The new Year-Long Engagement (YLE) program offers an alternative to the traditional "10 and 3" CE system (which requires 10 credits each year through three unique opportunities). Students who pursue YLE initiatives should have a specific long-term project related to higher purposes that they would like to work on over the course of the school year. Apply by October 19, 2020!
Get Credit
While community engagement should be more about your eagerness to learn and serve, it's still important that you receive credit for all that you do! To receive credit for any CE experience, you're required to fill out a new personal reflection form on Fortress. Find out more about the credit system and Fortress at our Menlo CE Info pages.
Find More Opportunities
Our CE opportunities database offers a wide selection of ideas for how to get involved with your community.

Students/Organization of the Month
December 2021: Alex Boesch

Sophomore Alex Boesch uses his filmmaking skills to spread awareness about community issues such as homelessness. He created a CASE 2021 project about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on homelessness in the Bay Area.

From Alex's CASE Newsletter:

“My interest in homelessness sparked at a young age when I frequently encountered the
homeless in New York City. I vividly remember one particular homeless man who would
always tell me to "stay in school" every time I passed him in front of
my apartment building. Back then, I did not think too much about his
advice, but as I have grown more interested in homelessness.”
